Lovenox injection site bleeding overnight

This is my second pregnancy using Lovenox (just 4 weeks now). I gave myself the Lovenox last night and it wouldnt stop bleeding last night, I used ice, put Vaseline on it and finally just used a Band-Aid in the middle of the night. I woke up and it was soaking and the site is still bleeding!! I remember some crazy long bleeding last time but seriously overnight?? Any advice?

    Oh my! Maybe you poked a blood vessel? Maybe call the Dr and ask just to make sure.

    Sounds like you got a vessel.  I'm so pale I can see mine!  Occasionally if I am not careful, I do bleed like that but it usually stops with an ice pack (stuffed in a belly band- to apply pressure).  If it seems like its stopping, throw a little liquid bandaid on top.  Theres a good chance you'll get a massive bruise though.
