Great NT scan/not great blood work

My NT scan looked great the numbers are nice and low and the nasal bone is present and it is "perfect" according to my doctor. I got the blood results back and the risk of DS is 1/97 due to a low Papp-A. Scan is great, hcg is great, but the papp-a is low. I am going to do the Panorama, but the waiting is torture.
I am traveling for work and took the call from my doctor yesterday. I immediately lost it and was sobbing. My doctor said she isn't concerned at all about DS and will just order more scans to ensure the baby's growth is on tract due to the low papp-a.
I would love to hear if you've had similar experiences.

    No experience, but I hope it all turns out with a good result!

    FX for you.  I think if your dr isn't worried then that's a great sign!  Those screening tests are difficult to process.

    That's still less than 1% chance. My NT scan came back at 1:55, which is less than 2%. We decided to go ahead with the blood work (results back next week), but I'm not too worried. We also had the good nasal bone and everything looks just fine.

    I understand it's hard not to be emotional, but try to listen to your doctor.

    No experience but I am glad to hear that your doctor is proactively tracking this for you.  I know the panorama and other results seem like they could take forever, but I couldn't image how much longer and more difficult that wait would be without the benefit of that technology.  Best wishes.

    No experience with this, but as pp said it sounds like your dr doesn't seem too worried. Sending T&Ps to you though!

    I posted in the other thread about how the panorama is very conclusive. I hope and pray everything works out.

    I just got my NT scan yesterday. The dr said the panorama is much better test and that the other bloodwork has a higher "false positive" rate and that he doesn't even like to use it. Hope it all works out.
