I just requested off for July 10th-14th to begin potty training DD. That is going to be 2 vacation days down the toilet

Tell me it won't be as bad as I am picturing.

I thought it would never succeed.

And then finally it did. Well, stage one, at least.

And plenty of people on my BMB actually managed the 3-day thing in 3 days. So you could be one of those.

My DD was older when she potty trained- simply wasn't ready, and It went horribly when I tried. Each time. I finally let her decide. She was like 3 1/2.. but it literally took a day and she had zero accidents ever. Hopefully yours is as smooth!!!

DS potty trained at 25 months and it was so, so easy. I know we got very lucky! The first day we let him run around bare bottomed and he caught on right away. There will be accidents, and that is all part of the learning process. So if your DD poops in her underwear, just use it as the opportunity to reinforce that poop goes in the potty. It is not an immediate sign that she is not ready. I would say that DS was PTed in 3 days and had it 100% mastered within 2 weeks. Our daycare was very supportive. DS had an accident the first 3 days or so that he was in daycare in underwear, and his teachers just kept cheering him on. They agreed that he was definitely ready. Good Luck! Getting rid of diapers is fantastic! (We still put DS in pull-ups for bed)
