Late birth announcement!

I've kind if been MIA since going on maternity leave, so here is my delayed birth story.
Tuesday the 10th I had an appointment. I was dilated to 5cm and 90% effaced. This was crazy to me since with DD my water broke at 1cm.
Thursday morning at 4am I woke up to a contraction. I had left some unfolded laundry downstairs and all I could think lying in bed was that if this was the real thing I couldn't leave laundry down there so I went and folded it. I started timing contractions, they were about 40-50 seconds long about a minute apart. But they were totally bearable. DH came down at 4:30 asking what the heck was going on. As we were talking they started getting quite a bit worse and were just one after the other. After trying the shower and yoga ball I had DH call my mom to come sit with DD while we went to the hospital. He finished packing my bag and we left the house about 10 after 5am.
We got to the hospital at 5:45 after the longest car ride of my life. I remember walking into the emergency entrance and leaning against whatever I could find to get through each contraction. Another pregnant woman was there checking in, her husband got me a wheelchair while DH is telling the nurse to get me to a delivery room ASAP. We got to my room just after 6, they checked me and I was at 9cm. Just as they got an IV in my hand I started pushing. I was standing there in my tank top with no pants on and pushed it out three pushes while holding on to DH to keep me up. It was nuts, there was no time for anything.
Team green turned pink when Matilda Wesley Michelle was born at 6:19am, two hours and 19 minutes after my first contraction. She was 8lbs3oz, almost a whole pound smaller than DD1. Wesley is after my grandpa and Michelle is after FIL (he's Mitchell) since she was born on his birthday. She was pretty bruised up from coming out so fast, and they had to pump quite a bit of meuconium (sp?) out of her stomach but she is good as new now.
