Measuring small

I had a miscarriage this year in January. I am now pregnant again as of May. I ovulated a couple of days later so my date is May 19th or 20th. I have had 3 ultrasounds. All have showed growth each time but have yet to see a heartbeat. They told me today I am measuring at 5w 6d. I'm supposed to be about 7w or 7w 1d. I'm so nervous. Has anyone had this happen? Measuring small but continued on for a successful pregnancy? Please any advice to ease my mind would help.

    Were you charting? Is that how you know when you ovulated?

    I really don't have any experience, just good vibes that maybe you ovulated later and that baby is right on track... I've also read some other threads today about similar topics (I would link, but I'm mobile).

    I had this happen to me last year. I wouldn't wait very long to go back in and be re measured the anxiety and worry is the worst part.

    Im in the same boat, went today for first U/s and measuring small thought I was 8 wk 1 day bc of last period and 7 w 1 day is what I was...couldve ovulated later than usual...im going back in in a week.  she also said progesterone could be low so they are testing that.

    Hopefully you just ovulated later and you just aren't as far along as you thought! I would think growth at each ultrasound is good thing! Best of luck for a nice strong heartbeat at your next appt!

    BFP 5/21/10, Missed m/c 7/5/10 at 11w3d (baby measured 7wks), D&C 7/7/10

    Aug/Sept 2010 - CD3&10 b/w & u/s, genetic testing, SA, HSG, & Lap/Hyst to remove septum

    12/09/10 BFP -- 7/05/11 DS born at 33w5d. Came home after 23d in NICU at 37w0d

    June 2012 - TTC #2! -- 10/05/12 BFP --  5/23/13 DS2 born at 37w1d! Yay full term!

    Surprise BFP 6/25/14 LO#3 due Feb2015!

    T&P's to you. I measured small with all my pregnancies, but it started around the 12-16 week mark (growth restriction and low fluid were the causes). I'm hoping the best for you and that you just ovulated later than you thought.

    Good luck! With DS at my first ultrasound (around 8 weeks) he measured 6 days smaller than expected. But by 13 weeks he had caught up and was measuring one day ahead. I'm guessing later ovulation than expected.
