A/S Scan ... less

I'm going crazy here!! Anyone else who's OB is making them wait until 22 weeks to do their A/S Scan?!?! The waiting is KILLING ME!!

Doctor is going to take a sneak peek tomorrow though to see if we can find out the gender a little early ... >- [-O<

Anyway - I was feeling sorry for myself and wanted to know if I had any company.

I had my A/S today and baby was stubborn. Legs crossed and tucked under its bum. Now have to wait until another scan at 24 weeks! You have company. I was disappointed, but loved seeing the baby. It's awesome!

Mines at 20 weeks. Not quite as late as yours....but I look at it this way. Baby will be bigger and moving more when I get my scan vs. the girls that got theirs at 17-18 weeks. The more time they have to grow, the cooler it will be to see them

I'm having my a/s at 21w 5d, so July 21st! I think I'm the last one to have it done since I'm also due at the end of Nov. I hope that at least they can get better measurements so we can find out if LO if healthy.

I actually broke down and paid the money for the elective sex scan because I was afraid of missing out on the yard sales for sex specific clothing.

Our A/S is at 21w2d....the waiting stinks but we have a regular appt on Friday.

Mine is scheduled at 21W5D's

I already know my LO is a boy but I'm still anxious to see him again!

Edit: I'm scheduled July 10th

I'm really glad I have an appointment before then (tomorrow) and it's an ultrasound apt so if anything else at least we will get to see how big baby's gotten. Our last ultrasound was at 12 weeks, so it'll be a big difference. I know, I shouldn't complain.

Seems like so many people here got them at 19 weeks! My doctor said from the get go we'd do it at 22. Guess it's OB preference...

I didn't get mine until after 21 weeks. Different ob's or offices have diff policies. But at least think of it this way, the longer you wait the more certain your doc and tech will be at the ultrasound. Just less chance of misreadings or false scares.

I wanted them to do mine around 19 weeks like I have seen on here but they won't do them before 20 at all. Im getting mine done at 20 weeks 2 days. So anxious even though I know the sex, I just wanna make sure she is healthy.

(I know 1 week isnt a lot but it feels like it :-P)

I also have to wait until 21 weeks

it was just the soonest the ultrasound place could book us and I am so anxious to see this little monkey...I know we will probably stay team green but I still want to see how much this little person has grown

waiting is hard!
