Cutting molars?

So DD has had a fever since Monday and Tylenol doesnt seem to be helping. We went to the doctor and ruled out her ears, throat and lungs and she doesnt have any other symptoms so the doctor gave us a thing to take a urine sample to see if its maybe a UTI. However she does have little bumps where the first molars are, so Im wondering if it could be that causing the fever? Anyone else go through something similar with their LOs?

    I totally thought Vinny was teething. Fever for three days, dropped for a day then another day of high fever then roseola popped up. Is the meds cutting the fever?

    Two degrees over normal temperature but her skin feels way hotter than that. The tylenol didnt seem to be working but we tried Advil and now its a little better but shes still warm.

    Yeah, she was eating fine Monday and Tuesday but today she hardly ate anything. I'm definitely thinking its her molars but we'll have to see what the urine test says. The poor little thing is so miserable.

    Not yet, yesterday they gave us a plastic bag thing that sticks to her and is supposed to catch urine but it kept coming undone. So we went back in today when our usual doctor was there and had her put another one on. We successfully collected a sample and I'm going to take it to the lab tomorrow when I go in for my GD test. Also, our doctor started DD on the antibiotic just in case. It'll help with the possible UTI and if she has some other infection that we aren't catching so win-win. 

    I'm still suspicious about her molars though. At dinner she kept rubbing her cheeks and was not interested in anything other than having a pouch and milk to eat.

    Another update: So since starting the antibiotic, her fever has gone away and she's happier but this morning she woke up with a rash all over. SO is allergic to meds that end in -cillin (penicillin, amoxicillin etc) so we're thinking she might be too. Called the doctors office and they told us that the antibiotic does cause a minor rash but to keep an eye on it/her to see if it gets worse or she starts having trouble breathing.

    So now we're on rash watch until tomorrow morning.

    @MorganWP‌ the first time my DD had amoxicillin she broke out in a rash. They told me it was not because she was allergic necessarily. She has had it since then and no rash.

    Another update: Got the test results back, no UTI. The walk in doctor thinks its most likely Roseola. So no more antibiotics but still on rash watch for a few days. 

    @JessicaKS yeah, the walk in doctor said the same thing and also said it would've been a lot worse a lot quicker if it had been an allergy.
