Thanks for the check in, classic! So happy to hear the move went well!

How far along are you? 27 weeks!

How are you feeling? Symptoms? Just generally uncomfortable and would do anything for a solid night of sleep. I'm sure it's all only going to get worse from here ;)

Any appointments coming up? Anything you need T&P for? I am struggling some this week, tomorrow a year ago was our bfp with Peanut. I never expected these emotions to hit me like a brick wall. I am so conflicted about feeling so sad and very full of grief for him while Lena is squirming around and doing so well.

GTKY: Are you watching the World Cup? Will the USA get out of the group tomorrow?
H is following closely, so I've been very passively watching... but I have no clue about any of the teams! Hopefully they don't?

  • @rn536 I hope your big breakfast helped with the headache. I woke up with one too. (((Hugs))) for your loss EDD. They can be tough days.

@anymax I'm so sorry you're having a rough week. I know what you mean about the conflicting emotions. But I think that it's healthy and normal to feel sad on the various anniversaries associated with losses. Big (((hugs))).

Also, we do want the US to get out of the group!! Then they will continue to the round of 16. It's confusing terminology. :)

  • How far along are you? 20 week HALF WAY!!

How are you feeling? Symptoms? I am feel great! Riley continues to move all around. He does have his lazy days which isn't great on the pgal brain. The only thing I have been deal with is backache when I wake up at night. It doesn't help to have my hundred different pillows.

Any appointments coming up? Anything you need T&P for?
The only appointment I have coming up is after we get back from vacation. It's a regular ob visit on the 15th.

GTKY: Are you watching the World Cup? Will the USA get out of the group tomorrow? I sorry I don't know much about this. I haven't watched any of it. I am lucky if I get the remote at night.

  • How far along are you?  24 weeks!!! V-DAY!

How are you feeling? Symptoms?  I'm doing ok.  The car ride was rough and I am still achy from it.  My rings finally had to be taken off.  I can get them off and on still, but they are so tight I don't want to risk it.  The heat and humidity here means I'm swelling a bit more than I was in CO.  It's not too bad, but just enough so my rings are on a break until my body goes back to normal.  Lilly is moving around a bit more and this morning I could almost discern what body part was being thrown against me.  Creepy, but also very cool.

Any appointments coming up? Anything you need T&P for?  I finally got approved by my new doctor yesterday!  I'm very happy to actually have a doctor again and a designated hospital.  Now we can sign up for our tour and everything.  Can't pre-register until August since I won't have my long term health insurance until then, but we can still go.  But, she is out of town when I'm technically due for an appointment so I'm seeing her July 21 when I'll be almost 28 weeks instead of the week before between 26 and 27.  Oh well.  They said I can come in sooner if anything comes up which is reassuring.  Waiting almost 6 weeks between appointments is not my preference, but if she is as good a doctor as I've been told it will be worth the wait.

GTKY: Are you watching the World Cup? Will the USA get out of the group tomorrow?  Yes.  Every day.  DH has to watch all the "important" games.  You would think that would mean only the games in the US's group or even just the US games, but you would be wrong.  He watches at least one game every day.  I watch them in a more passing way, except the US games.  I do think we'll make it out of the group along with Germany.  There really is only one way we wouldn't that could easily happen, but so many other scenarios in which we will go through that one of those seems more likely.  We'll see tomorrow.

  • @classicstar28 - thanks for running the check in!  Whooo, congrats on V-day!!
@RN536 - ((((Hugs)))) for you today as you remember your sweet LO.  Congrats on being 17 weeks today :)
@AnyMax - Lots and lots of ((((hugs)))).  Anniversaries and reminders of our LO's we lost are so difficult and I think it's perfectly normal to feel those conflicting feelings.
@whiteroses05 - Congrats on being half baked!!!
@mmheartspb - I like your updated avatar :).  Sorry you're still struggling with m/s. I hope it tapers off soon!

    How far along are you?
16 weeks - baby is the size of an avocado!

How are you feeling? Symptoms?  Pretty good actually, symptom wise.  Lots of twinges and such in the ol' uterus and it "feels funny" to bend over already, kind of like I'm super bloated but I think it's actually because the baby is now taking up significant space - yay!  Emotionally this week was tough. It was the one year anniversary of my D&C and I didn't expect it to stick with me the way it did, but I just kept thinking about "a year ago today..." and everything that transpired between then and now.  I'm incredibly thankful and happy to be pregnant now, but I wish I could go back in time and give myself the biggest hug and tell myself that It'll be okay...I'll be okay even though it won't seem like it at times.  I had a good cry on the 19th, wrote about it, and spent the night in an introverted head-space to just reflect.

Any appointments coming up? Anything you need T&P for? I had an OBGYN appointment on Monday - baby sounded great.  The appointment took a flippin' hour and we saw the doctor for all of 5 minutes.  Kind of annoying, but I know this is common, it's just a personal pet peeve.  You may remember we visited a birth center last week and that went really well but I'm not 100% convinced I'd feel more safe there than at the hospital, so I haven't made any changes to my care as of yet.

GTKY: Are you watching the World Cup? Will the USA get out of the group tomorrow?  I usually LOVE soccer.  I played from the time I was a little tot all the way through HS and now I just don't enjoy it as much.  I think the thing that bothers me the most is the acting. Like "oh my shin is going to burst into a thousand micro pieces because he grazed my leg and now I have to roll all over the field holding it until the ref calls a foul".  Okay, maybe it's not always that bad, but I just can't really deal with it so I don't watch it, but my H is totally obsessed.

@maryhr1 - Welcome to the check-in!  I also only had sore boobs as my only 'symptom' until week 6/7 before the nausea kicked in (in addition to the sore boobs), and it really only stuck around until week 9 and was on again/off again after that until week 12.  Do you obsessively check your boobs to make sure they're still sore?  I know I did, I had to be careful not to do it in traffic or walking down the hall in my office haha...oops. I had a few "don't mind me, stranger, I'm just over here groping my chest" moments  :\">.

  • @whiteroses05 Yay for half way!  Glad that you are feeling good and feeling Riley moving around.  I agree that when they are lazy it isn't great for pgal brain.  Lilly has her quiet days as well and they totally freak me out.  But, apparently it's pretty normal for them to do that even into 3rd tri.

@mmheartspb Hopefully your ms will be gone very soon!  Mine went away around 14 weeks.  I agree that Germany will win the group.  There is a real chance that Ghana will get 2nd with a goal differential.  I'm hoping for a draw tomorrow, but Germany is such a good team I'm not sure that will happen.  My prediction is that Germany will win and Ghana will win, but only by one goal and we will still advance since we beat them.

@carlsonbaby2014 (((Hugs))) for your D&C anniversary.  I hate going to the dr and being there forever but not getting the time I feel I deserve.  Good luck with making your decision.  I know people switch practices at all different points so you've got time to decide what you think will be best.

@maryhr1 Welcome to Wednesday!  I didn't really have any symptoms except bigger boobs until the middle of week 6 and didn't really hit me hard until week 7.  All you can really do is take it one day at a time.  Btw, whoever said that the US team isn't very good is wrong.  It's a pretty good little team, just not very experienced.  Being in the "group of death" isn't helpful, but they've done better than expected.

@pink021 I'm glad your GD is doing better and that your BPP went well.  Sorry you are not sleeping through the night anymore.  I'm already having that and it sucks.  I'm not really a huge sports fan either, but things that are important to DH tend to be important to me.  Soccer is his favorite thing so I've gotten into it a bit.

Hi everyone!  I did an intro on the main board, but my brief intro is TTC for 1 year, got pregnant, great pregnancy, had my DS in January this year.  He was born healthy, but caught a virus and passed away when he was 5 weeks old.  We started TTC again when I got my first PP cycle back, and on month 3 got my BFP!  I'm so excited to grow and eventually meet the little brother or sister my angel baby picked out for us :)

How far along are you? 4 weeks

How are you feeling? Symptoms? No symptoms really except for light brown spotting that has been going on since 8DPO.

Any appointments coming up? Anything you need T&P for? Just a third blood draw on Friday.  I haven't set up my first real appointment yet, but it will probably be sometime during week 7.  I'd love T&Ps that the spotting is nothing bad, and stops soon!

  • How far along are you?
    11w...lime!

    How are you feeling? Symptoms?
symptoms are very light.  fatigue and constipation are still a constant battle, and i still get nauseated if i wait too long to eat and also in the evening it seems (although it's not terrible).  symptoms never got really bad but now they're even less.  i also keep poking around above my pubic bone, looking for the top of my uterus popping up.  i keep thinking i'm feeling it but i'm just not sure.  PARANOIA.

Any appointments coming up? Anything you need T&P for?
nope, not till july 16.  it feels like such a long way away.

GTKY: Are you watching the World Cup? Will the USA get out of the group tomorrow?
nope.  i don't do sports, really.  formula 1 racing and hockey when i can get a good game on broadcast (my current home team is the wild and they don't really do it for me, lol).

@classicstar - thanks for the check-in, and so glad to hear your move went well, and yay v-day!  i'm glad you've gotten your doctor straightened out, although it's a bummer you can't get in for some weeks.

@RN536 - vulvar varicosities...that sounds really unpleasant.  :(  is there any way to get relief?  (((hugs))) for your EDD.

@AnyMax - (((hugs))) for you too.  all of those anniversaries and milestones have to be so hard.  the later-pregnancy discomfort is soooo tough, and you're right, it keeps getting worse till baby comes, and then it's whole other ball of wax.

@whiteroses05 - half baked!  awesome!  just a few short weeks to v-day now too!

@mmheartspb - bummer on the headaches and backaches.  so far i'm only getting them when i'm on my feet too long.

@carlsonbaby2014 - so many anniversaries.  (((hugs)))

@maryhr1 - welcome!  i'm giggling a little at your hair mousse.  i'd probably call it a sign if it was me too.  ;)  it's so hard to stay positive in the early days...take what you can get!  my symptoms didn't kick in until after 6w and even then they never really got bad.  hang in there.

@Pink021 - omg, 34 weeks!  i wish i was there.  glad to hear that your GD is doing better and that baby passed your first BPP!

@erinel - welcome!  i'm so sorry for your loss...how completely heartbreaking.  T&P that your spotting is nothing!  i had a teeny bit of spotting with this pregnancy around 4.5 weeks and again around 7w, and i had 8 days of brown spotting from 6.5-7.5w with DS, all of it nothing.

  • @erinel Welcome!  I am so sorry for your loss.  T&Ps that your spotting stops soon and is nothing.  I had some spotting at 10 weeks that turned out to be nothing and I know many ladies here have had similar experiences at various points that turned out to be nothing as well.

@longcat07 I also poked around looking for the top of my uterus.  I think I started feeling it at about 12 or 13 weeks.  My symptoms also seemed to drop off between 11 and 12 weeks (after a bout of stomach flu) but then came back for 13 and 14.  July 16 does sound far now, but hopefully it'll be here before you know it!
