Very sleepy newborn?

Just wondering how often everyone's newborn sleeps? My baby had jaundice do he was very sleepy after birth, would not even wake up for feedings. Now, no more jaundice but still so sleepy! He is 2 weeks old and yesterday slept for 20 hours straight waking up every 3 hours for feedings. Is this normal???

    IIRC, newborns normally sleep around 16-20 hours a day. Is he eating well? Is he having at least 8 wet diapers a day? If so then I *think* it's pretty normal but I'm not a doctor and if your concerned you should of course consult with the pediatrician.

    He eats well 8 wet/poopy diapers a day. My first son was so different and I know all babies are different but this seems like a lot.

    Mine is super sleepy as well. A little jaundice at the beginning too. She is sill 5oz away from birth weight at 18 days old. We go for frequent weight checks and pedi tells me to wake her every 2-3 hours to eat during the day and 2-4 hours at night. Mine is also a lazy eater but since the poops and pees are right and her coloring is better we are supplementjng pumped BM to try and beef her up.
