Had our a/s yesterday and it was so exciting to see LO again.
Question, though, was that the last ultrasound look we'll have at LO until they arrive? (I know some circumstances require more, but just in general). I liked having the 1st tri and this to know everything was going ok. I'm really sad I won't see baby again until November!
Re: A/S-So that's our last look??
Probably not the last one. I'm no doctor, but I believe they continue to "check in on things" throughout the pregnancy. My friend just got one at 28 weeks and I know SIL got a few right toward the end to make sure everything was progressing properly.
I had one more at around 36 weeks with DS, because my stomach started measuring small (found no problems, he had just dropped into my pelvis.)
Even though you may not see baby again until November, feeling baby moving around is nice and reassuring.

With my son, the anatomy scan was the last ultrasound I had. and I had a dating ultrasound right away because my cycles are way funky.
I think that, in general, as long as they can see everything they wanted to see and there's no other concern about baby it's the last one.

Wait, What?!? - EDD 11/1/19
(The only thing I might be curious about would be if my baby was wrapped in the cord... But really, every thing could look fine at 39 weeks... but then the baby could start getting tangled the day you deliver.)
