  Yeah I have to agree with @breemarie08 although there really is no board that can answer your question. The best you can hope for is the weekend to pass quickly and get in to the doctor. good luck to you.

  I still had a positive test 3 weeks after my D&C and I knew I wasn't pregnant since we were preventing (per Drs orders).  If you haven't been preventing and your betas weren't tracked down to zero there is no way for you to know.  The only way you can know is to have a beta drawn and then another one in 48 hrs.  If they are rising than it is likely a new pregnancy, if they are dropping it is probably just HSG left from the m/c.

  I'm something like 5 weeks post D&C and I tested positive today at my hysteroscopy. I'm not pregnant. My levels are slow to drop due to some retained tissues of conception my RE found durning the hysteroscopy.

  Hi. I am sorry for your loss... and I apologize if this comes off blunt, but I am protective of the women on this board.

  
  

  It is inappropriate to post a BFP on this board. I realize you're not sure if it's leftover HCG. No one here can tell you. You would have had to have a baseline beta from your pregnancy and be able to compare it to now. Only your doctor can help with that.

  
  

  It could be from the last pregnancy. I had positive pee sticks for 3-4 weeks after. 

  
  

  It could be from a new pregnancy... which isn't exactly likely but possible. This leads me to my next point/question.

  
  

  Have you had a conversation with your doctor about post-d&c sex? For one, you likely shouldn't have been having sex for at least 2 weeks post d&c because the risk of infection is so high.The likelihood that you ovulated during that two week time period is low.

  
  

  If you have been having unprotected sex since after that two week time period, it's possibly too early to turn a test positive from a new pregnancy... but that's not 100% true depending upon if and when you might have ovulated (the EARLIEST chance of a BFP is at 8-9DPO, although most women take until 12DPO).

  
  

  Have you had a conversation with your doctor about when it will be okay to have sex without a form of birth control? Most doctors advise waiting 2-3 cycles after a d&c for TTC to allow for your uterine lining to build up. Trying before that point can lead to complications and another loss.

  
  

  If you get a confirmation that you are indeed pregnant, there is no need to update us. Head over to a pregnancy board.... and for god's sake do not post questions about a possible BFP on a miscarriage or loss board - including trying to conceive after a loss.

  PG#1 - 3rd cycle BFP. Team Green. HELLP syndrome @ 34 weeks.
  Later diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, possible link to HELLP.

  PG#2 M/C 3/14 - Surprise BFP 2/13. Beta's doubled every 52 hours from 3w5d-5w5d
  Viable pregnancy scan at 5w5d; 2nd u/s showed 2 days of growth in 7 but a HB of 120
  3rd u/s on 3/10/14 had no HB and baby had only grown 7 days over 14
  D&C 3/17/14 - complications - DX Retroflexed uterus, multiple tears to cervix

  Sorry for your loss.  I would consult your doc on this.  I agree with PP that there is no way to know without a beta HCG draw and another one 48 hrs later.  I understand your excitement at possible being pregnant again, but this probably isn't the best place to try and figure it out.  Perhaps one of the pregnancy boards (not TTCAL or any LOSS board, for that matter) would be more appropriate.

  ****DD mentioned*** This happened to me after my first miscarriage. I was in fact pregnant with my DD. It could be left over hormones, or it could be that you're pregnant. Have your physician run a few Hcg tests to determine if the amounts are going up or down. Good luck!
