Hi everyone, I'm Aspen & my husband is Bill. We have been TTC for three months- have me a whole new appreciation for couples dealing with infertility. If only three months trying gave me that many ups and downs emotionally, I can't imagine a whole year or more. Hopefully this is a sticky baby!! Here are my dates-
LMP- 5/23/14
+Opk- 6/11/14 (CD 21)
O- 6/12/14 Confirmed with high temps on Fertility Friend
BFN- 6/21/14 9DPO
BFP- 6/23/14 11 DPO
BFP#2 - 6/24/14 12 DPO
my due date is 3/5/14.... A baby to signal the end of Winter! It's a great time to be very pregnant, I've heard, because you can get all sweaty if you're very pregnant in Summer!
I told my mom right away, before I told my husband even. Want to know why? Because he was passed out hungover all day! He was best man at a wedding the night before, and I was the designated driver. He started doing shots of Jim Beam with friend around 1:30 a.m... I figures he should have a last ridiculously raucous night if we were pregnant. We got home at 4:00 a.m. (Ugh) and I tested at 9:00 when I woke up... I was so shocked!!! I used a FRER and then drove to the store and got a Rite Aid brand (+) and a clear blue advanced digital (-) (advanced my butt!!!). This morning I used the rite aid again and got a positive.
I told my husband in a super cute way ... He was so shocked! I even got a video. We got in to Lake George NY yesterday at 7:00pm- his hangover was just almost gone. We stopped by the lake with his friend. My husband is OBSESSED with fishing. I put the BFP's in a plastic ziploc bag weighted with some "egg rocks" we had found on a beach in Big Sur, CA. I had his best friend dive in the water and hook the plastic bag to my husband's lure! He reeled it in and had no idea what was going on. He just kept saying these look like pregnancy tests- where did they come from? I was video taping him so it dawned on him he was looking at my tests. Then he was like "I don't know how to read these! What are these lines!" (Even though one of the tests was a digital and the other had the interpretation right on it!) finally he figured it out and was so happy. So now we are celebrating at a beautiful lake house.
My only symptom so far is sore boobs! I'm only 3 weeks 5 days, after all

I've been an egg donor 6 times for couples undergoing IVF and was intimately involved in the process. Also, I am a mental health therapists that counsels people on various things including infertility. I think I can appreciate and understand a struggle without having gone through it. Without that empathy I would be a horrible therapist! @IslandBreezy @jessuhmarie @FrecklesInside
