Thanks for all of your input. We are just stuck on naming our girl due in 6 weeks. Its a name DH suggested and at first I didn't like it but it was starting to grow on me. I have heard of girls being named Blake, so I thought I would just see what people's opinions were.
I do love unisex names but this one tends to be more on the boy side. Now I would go with Blakley which is very close, but if you both love Blake go with that!
I don't particularly like Blake on a boy, and I loath it on a girl. Team Nay.
Whenever I meet someone who named their girl(s) a boy name(s) I always wonder if one of the parents would have really preferred a boy and was so disappointed not to get one that they used the name anyway (knew a girl in high school named Christopher for that very reason).
I do understand sometimes using a family name or last name that is masculine as a middle name (for me, my GP name is Elizabeth Dale for my grandfather). But not for first names.

Not sure where to go from here.
What do you like about it? The B? The sound? Do you have other names you like?
I like boy names for girls and last names for boys. VERY UO here, so..of course..I love it
I would just expect to have you LO called a boy though, because it's gonna happen...like every day.
