I went and got my legs waxed and a full Brazilian. Sure it hurt like a Mofo for a day or two, but now I feel great. What else have you mammas been doing to feel sexy during pregnancy?
I don't really feel like a baby bump is any less sexy, so I haven't really done much out of the ordinary. It does help that DH tells me I'm beautiful a lot. I wear flattering clothes that show off the bump and makeup, and that's about it.
I might try to focus on the beauty of becoming a mother. And tell DH how you're feeling (a little pampering may go a long way). That will help you through!
I've been keeping up with my mani/pedi schedule. I usually get nails done, then two weeks after that I get a mani/pedi, and so on. I had stopped in the beginning of the pregnancy because I wanted to save money, but I found that I was just spending that money on other stuff and not saving. The massages are nice, and I feel prettier keeping up with them.
Feeling sexy isn't really important to me during pregnancy, or outside of pregnancy. But, to feel good about my appearance in general I've invested in some great pregnancy clothes that make me feel professional and well put together despite the bump.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
My DH has been telling me that I look so cute pregnant so I haven't really felt unsexy. I try to wear clothes that really emphasize my belly. He's told me I look cute more in the last few months than he has since we started dating. I guess I'm going to have to stay pregnant all the time to get some compliments. When I have called him out on it, he says that he shouldn't have to tell me I'm pretty because I should already know that I am. Obviously, he doesn't understand that females need to hear this in order to believe it.
I have been keeping up with my hair appointment more regularly. Before I would go 6 months to a year before I would get my hair done. Now I am on an 8 week schedule! It helps to maintain control over one part of my body.
Also, I worked a good bit of overtime and I plan to get a massage as a reward. It is not about feeling sexy but feeling good about myself in general.
Y'all are inspiring me! We leave for vacation tomorrow and I will try extra hard to make an effort every day to look good. The thing I do to feel sexy is staying active. Walking, biking, and doing yoga so I feel good.
I went and got it done because even though my hubby says I'm super sexy, to me, I want to feel sexy. I have felt great since doing it and a pedicure is next.
Umm. I pull out my belly and jiggle it in DH's face. Is that sexy? Then he tells me to stop because I'm going to give LO shaken baby syndrome. I'm not sure how I manage to be this sexy, it just comes natural. ;;)

Once LO comes, that may fall to the wayside.
