What's your special song?

Just wondering if you and your LOs have a special song? Lately A Thousand Years from Twilight has kinda been our special night night song.

    Right now my 21 month old dances in a circle singing no more monkeys jumping on the bed. My 3.5 year old taught him lol.

    Bf and i sing soft kitty to both boys. It started because when bentley was going through his four month sleep regression hed fall asleep when bf would sing him soft kitty so i started doing it. I also sing him stile nacht(silent night in german) occasionally.

    Other then that my special song with him is my last name by dierks bentley. That started because one its sung by dierks bentley and two he has my very unique last name and i love that.

    I sing LO animal fair. It's about a monkey sitting on an elephants trunk and the elephant sneezes and falls on the monkey "and that's the end of the monk the monk that's the end of the monkeyyyy" very nice song lol but it's something my grandad always used to sing and just circulated through the family

    Three little birds by bob Marley. I sang it to her when I was pregnant, starting from the moment I decided to keep her and not give her up for adoption. Some days, when it's rough and I'm having trouble dealing, I sing it to her and she calms a bit, helps make life easier.

    Aww. I don't think I could make it through A Thousand Years. I loved that song long before LO. 

    Our song was Happy by Pharell, but now it's kinda lost it's luster for us. She ALWAYS smiled when I sing Twinkle Twinkle. So I sing that to her some nights. You Are My Sunshine...stuff like that.

    The song that starts the night tie ritual... "Can You Stand the Rain" by New Edition. I have no clue as how it became part of the night time ritual but I have it playing as I'm cuddling on the couch with The Lil Emperor before lights out. If he hears the song on the radio during the day, he looks at me like "No Not yet!!!" LOL

    And on his birthday, I didnt sing Happy Birthday, I played "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire. The night before he was born, I put my earphones on my stomach to play some music and that song came on my Pandora Station. Next day, September 25... he made his appearance :-)

    Love it!

    I've started Hush Little Baby with her several times but always have to make up my own words and it never lasts that long.  

    Aria either really loved or really hated New Edition and Rob Base when I was carrying her.  She always started moving when they came on.

    Bentley loves country music much to my amusment. Bf didnt listen to country music until we got back together and bf really wants the boys to be metal fans so far hes loosing bentley likes dierks bentley and c likes blake shelton.

    Ours was Baby Mine from Dumbo and there was also this silly song that I made up and used to sing her every night at bath and bedtime.
