IUD removed today; when do I start charting?

I'm bleeding a teeny tiny bit, but that's most likely from removal, right? Do I start temping in the morning? Wait until there's more substantial bleeding? I'm just ready to get started!

    No, I wouldn't count it as CD1 until you require a pad or tampon and not just spotting. But you don't have to wait for CD1. I was on something like CD35 when I started.

    I'm in the same boat! I just had my IUD removed June 11. No bleeding at all yet and I started temping. I'm not counting any cycle days but at least I'll get the hang of tracking my temp.

    I had a little bit of spotting on removal day. I counted the next day when red period-like bleeding started as CD1. I temp vaginally so I waited for the bleeding to trail off before temping, so I started recording temps CD7 that cycle.

    The withdrawal bleeding wasn't bad for me but my first real post-Mirena period was super heavy, so I'd recommend having supplies at hand for every contingency.

    I hope I bleed today just so I cab get everything started. I'm all stocked up for the month. I'm almost...nervous. I've been on BC for 10 years so I don't even remember what an unregulated period is like.

    Be ready-I had my first period after Mirena 6 1/2 weeks after removal and it was SUPER heavy, as PP said. But I was temping before that to get into the habit of it
