Hi ladies, sorry this is late. It’s been a busy few days with appointments and family commitments. This is a weekly check-in for members in their third trimester. You can feel free to join at 28 weeks and we will bid you an excited farewell when you greet your little ones!

Congrats to the new mamas!

How far along are you? 31w5d

Upcoming appointments? I had my weekly OB appt and BPP with the MFM today.

Any updates to share? Both babies passed the BPP with flying colors. Last week's 24 hour urine collection showed my kidneys are dumping more protein, but the rest of my labs were good. I have to keep a watch on my blood pressure and be on the lookout for any other pre-e symptoms. I now also get weekly cervical checks...so not fun :-S. Cervix was firmly closed, so that's good to know.

How are you feeling? I've been feeling really good this week, but I've also made more of an effort to take it easy and stay off my feet as much as possible. After spending about an hour flat on my back for the BPP this morning (nurse had both HB monitors on Baby A so I had to repeat) it's pretty sore. I'm still hoping and praying both babies will flip to vertex so I have a shot at a natural delivery!

QOTW: How is everyone coming along with their LO’s rooms? Anything major left to do? My FIL painted the nursery Monday and now we have to figure out how to do the polka dot accent wall I want. The bedding should arrive tomorrow, which is a huge relief after the aggravation it's caused me. I ordered it from Etsy and it's delay, plus the issue with not receiving the fabric samples supposedly sent have put the whole nursery design behind. I still need to pick out matching sheets, paint colors for the polka dots, wall decor and possibly a glider.

Upcoming appointments?

Just went Tuesday and everything was great- next appt is on July 8th. Should be sooner but we are leaving town the week of the 4th.

Any updates to share?

Not much. It's an all day every day dance party in there; sleeping is getting more difficult. I have quite a bit of pressure and discomfort that is new- hopefully some time in the pool will help those minor complaints as well as my ever-increasing body temperature.

How are you feeling?

See above. Good overall but definitely feeling the discomfort as promised. Beginning to think of quite a few smartass ways to answer "How are you feeling" when I'm waddling around in 100 degree South Texas heat.

QOTW: How is everyone coming along with their LO’s rooms? Anything major left to do?

We painted this past weekend, the crib is ordered, and we're going to pick up the dresser/changer tonight (and hopefully order a glider too). I'm planning on making the rug out of jersey sheets so that's my next big project.

@ThoseThreeWords I am so, so sorry about your dog. My cat died unexpectedly back in March and it was so rough. I totally get being worried about how it's affecting LO too. I wish I had some magic words other than "give it time" but that's about all I've got- I'm still sad for a little bit most days.

Upcoming appointments? I had my 28 week appt today and my next appt is in 2 weeks with a growth scan! I'm so excited to see my little girl again, especially after I've been getting to know her via kicks and punches. I can't believe I'm on an every 2 week schedule now instead of every 4!

Any updates to share? Nope just hangin in there.

How are you feeling? I'm feeling great. The heartburn gets pretty bad at night, so I'm really going to work on restricting my diet since the Tums do absolutely nothing.

QOTW: Ummm...I ordered the crib and dresser...that's progress, right? I'm hoping that since DH will have to go pick it up, it'll motivate him to start painting this week.

(((Hugs))) @ThoseThreeWords‌ I'm so sorry for your loss.

And thanks so much for all the support along the way! I can't believe our LO is finally here! I am working on a birth story but the short of it is that I was scheduled for induction on Monday morning. I went into labor on my own at midnight and was admitted by 4 am Monday morning. Labor moved along quickly and I was complete and ready to push by 11:45. Unfortunately delivery was a tough one and our baby BOY Joseph Douglas didn't enter into the world until 4:05 PM after over 4 hours of pushing!

He was DX with wet lungs and spent the first 48 hours in the nursery under observation with an IV. He is finally off the IV tonight and able to room in with us and is breast feeding well! I am doing ok, recovery has been helped by the down time while Doug was under the care of the nurses.

Again ladies, thank you so much for all the support along the way! Now I'm off to finally care for my baby

I am 33 weeks today. I had an ob appointment, growth ultrasound, started NSTs, and an mfm appointment this week. Gracie passed the NST and everything looked good. She weighs 3 lbs, 14 oz and is at the 11th percentile. The mfm is very happy with her size since I'm diabetic. Next week is an easy week, just ob and NST :-)

QOTD: the painting is finished and furniture is in the room. We just need to complete a lot of little details - blinds, drapery hardware, make the crib, wall accessories. And then, I need to ORGANIZE!

AFM...29 weeks today! Next app't is next Monday. I don't start biweekly app'ts until 34 weeks.

Ladies, if you have the opportunity to swim during pregnancy, take it. We went to my MIL's for Father's Day and I swam in her pool...and I was *weightless* and it was wonderful and nothing ached! Just wonderful.

I'm feeling good, mostly still just tired. And many days I hit a point where I have to take off my bra because it feels too tight. I refuse to buy new ones until I see how big I get for nursing. (I've gone from 34C to 38D and I refuse to believe I've grown any larger than that!)

QOTW: We don't plan to do much for Munchkin's room until she's here (Jewish superstition). But a friend is giving us a crib for free, which I am finally picking up tomorrow. (I'm paying her and my friend who is driving me in his SUV each with a loaf of banana bread.) Still need to choose a dresser/changing table (any recs? dark wood preferred to match the crib) and hopefully a glider, both of which I'd like to order so that they're delivered right around my due date. And for our room, not LO's, I just ordered a waterproof mattress cover in case my water breaks in bed...

@ThoseThreeWords - I'm so so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you had a great friend who was really with you during tough times. I agree with what others have told you that grieving is natural and it won't hurt your baby .

How far along are you? 29 weeks.

Upcoming appointments? Saw lactation consultant yesterday and had breast feeding multiples class tonight (complete with dolls - hilarious) but no doctors appts this week.

Any updates to share? Our US with high risk OB went well. Babies are growing VERY well apparently and were estimated at 3 lbs 1 oz and 3 lbs 4 oz. Doc said growth rate will probably slow down as they start crowding each other. My placenta is now 3 cm away from cervix so that won't keep me from delivering vaginally if all the others stars align. Did find out my anemia is pretty bad (I was trying to control it with diet alone) so I have started twice daily iron (with lots of colace, prune juice etc).

How are you feeling? Pretty good except randomly so so tired. Like yesterday I had to cancel my afternoon appts and slept for four hours. Today I felt fine.

QOTW: I think we are in good shape. Mostly now we just need to work on the wall art. DH is an illustrator and just finished a piece for the girls we are going to get framed. I have another print being framed right now. We need to take down the creepy painting of DH as a little kid and my diploma and replace them with the new stuff and we should be good. We decided not to put carseats in car until 35 weeks so right now those sit in the cribs.

How far along are you? 35 + 2 Upcoming appointments? Friday MFM & NST How are you feeling? Ugh. I'm almost at my breaking point. I spent yesterday at 4:30 am at l&d because of a lot of brown smelly discharge that is often times filling up the toilet:/ As of now it is ruled by my MFM to be a bacteria infection caused from left over crinone and bacteria colonizing. again, awesome suppositories:( However, I have started to spot a lot more and that could be another preterm labor sign...which we've had quite a few. Not to complain (ha) but I only get between 1-3 1/2 hrs. Of sleep at night and that's really really old. So, we will see on Friday if there's more dilation or effacement. I just want to feel good and semi normal again:/ Qotw: babies room is done and is my hangout every night in our 2 room house. It is a calming room. We only need to know girl/boy and then we will finish bedding and curtains:)

Any updates to share? Things have been pretty quiet around here

How are you feeling? I feel good. I have been having some vertigo issues with my Ménière's Disease, but I am used to dealing with that, so no big deal. I also had a stomach bug on Sunday! but I am all better now. The baby is kicking a ton and all over the place. I love feeling it!

QOTW: How is everyone coming along with their LO’s rooms? Anything major left to do? I am painting the guest/baby bath today DH assembled a shelving unit over the weekend, so now what is left is the crib and to order the glider. We will do the crib this weekend, so I will be able to organize everything that isn't in the closet yet.

I have a question for everyone: Is anyone else having a hard time removing tags or taking things out of boxes? I still have everything in a state where it could be returned. Part of me says to keep it that way until we come home from the hospital with LO...the other part of me doesn't want that much work to do with a newborn.

@Allison7 Yes, it took me awhile before I started removing tags and setting up the nursery. For some time all the shower gifts and things I'd bought were just piled in the nursery and I'd go in and organize the piles, but not take tags off. Finally I decided I had to do it just in case I delivered early and it would be too stressful to set up the nursery with newborns in tow. Once I did that it actually made me feel better. Like these babies are for real and are coming home with me.

Nothing really. OB says to keep doing what I'm doing. My belly is constantly becoming rock solid and I feel a lot of pelvic pressure, I'm not sure what I'm feeling though. How are you feeling? I'm doing good. I just have major itchiness all over my body and it's driving me nuts! I have that pressure pain I mentioned about paired with occasional cramps. Apparently it's all normal?

How far along are you? 36w4d

Upcoming appointments? I have one every week now -- so Wednesday! We do an ultrasound at each on to check on Mr. Baby.

Any updates to share? My bp has been rising over the last 2 appointments. Though it's still not really high enough to be concerning, my OB wants to be super cautious since I have 2 risk factors for PIH and pre-e (BMI and AMA). My urine's been negative for protein at every visit, but they want me to do a 24-hour collection next week just to get a clearer picture. They did take bw yesterday and it was fine. Baby is fine, I'm negative for GBS, and we are just counting down the days.

How are you feeling? Not too bad. I am exhausted all the time. I find that I feel great if I am able to get a ton of sleep (like 11 hours a night), but that's not realistic on a regular basis. Carpal tunnel is getting a bit worse and is super annoying but I just keep telling myself it's only a few more weeks.

QOTW: How is everyone coming along with their LO’s rooms? Anything major left to do? Ha ha -- I swear we are behind all of you and we're so close! It took us a long time to get the help we needed with painting and wallpapering, but that is DONE. Then last night when my wife was getting ready to put the crib together, she hit her head hard on a metal shelf bracket and started bleeding...I made her take the night off. It shouldn't take long to do though, once she gets around to it. The dresser/changing table is in our basement so we just need someone to help her move it upstairs -- I think my sister's bf is going to do it on Saturday. Once the furniture is in, we can finally put everything away! We need to put pictures on the walls and put blinds and curtains up too. And we need to pick out a rug -- currently it's just bare hardwoods -- but honestly that might not happen until after he's born.

Austin is here! Our little guy was born on Saturday, 6/14. What a great Father's Day present.

Hi ladies, sorry to be so late to the check in! My mom was in the hospital overnight this week to do a test on why her white blood cell counts were so low on a bloodtest earlier in the week -- and we're anxiously awaiting results. Send some positive vibes this way, pretty please, ok? Trying not to freak out. xo

Any updates to share? We got a super cute u/s pic of baby's face last week. Big squishy cheeks, already!

How are you feeling? Overall, good. Indigestion is here to stay for awhile, I think. I actually puked for the first time this whole pregnancy last week. Lovely! Other than that, just sleepy -- probably because of all the overnight trips to the bathroom.

QOTW: How is everyone coming along with their LO’s rooms? Anything major left to do? Crib and dresser are together, anything we've received so far (some hand-me-down clothes) are washed and put away. Thinking of ordering the glider or mattress next. And I want to make something like this for the walls, soon.

@Thosethreewords, I'm so sorry for your loss. I love my furbabies so much and would be just devastated if lost them, you are in my thoughts through this tough time.

Upcoming appointments? Just a check-up next week.

Any updates to share? We finished 3 out of 4 childbirth prep classes. MH and I have found them to be very informative, practical and helpful. It really educated us on the birth process and the labor breathing exercises are very useful--hopefully we will remember it and use these techniques when the time comes.

How are you feeling? Overall I'm feeling fine, but just feel big. My legs are bigger and it doesn't feel comfortable My stomach has definitely moved up higher because of the baby, so experiencing more heartburn and definitely need to eat smaller meals because the indigestion is not comfortable.

QOTW: How is everyone coming along with their LO’s rooms? Anything major left to do? The nursery is painted, but we still need to replace the baseboard and chair rail because they are beat-up and look pretty bad. We have all of the furniture, wall decal and some artwork so after the trim is replaced, carpets cleaned, we can finally assemble the furniture.

Hi Ladies! Sorry I am late to the check-in here, but I have had the craziest week and have not had a sec to be on here, because...I had my babies!! I got the surprise of my life on Friday when my water broke, and Harper & Oliver were born just under 24 hrs later. It was a crazy difficult delivery, but it ended with two precious and perfect little peanuts. DH and I are madly in love and in awe of these little guys. I will post a birth story when I get a chance but just wanted to let you know they are here and everybody is doing well!

Huge congrats to the other mommies that had their babies this week too! I'm sure you are all on cloud 9 like I am!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry for my late check in. I've been MIA..
I'm 37 weeks today!!!! My OB appt went well. I was told though that I need an ultrasound twice a week starting next week due to the IVF and they want to make sure that baby is ok and that amniotic fluid is still good. I'm not too thrilled about it since I feel like she has had too many ultrasounds..

Well the good news is that it's my last week at work. Can't believe I made it..
I will get a mani/pedi to celebrate!!!
I've been feeling ok and have been having braxton hicks twice this week.
Qotw: nursery is pretty much ready, we just need my rocking glider and need to put together the changing table.
Her clothes are all washed thanks to my mom who helped me with most of it. Her closet is pretty much organized and ready

Anything major left to do? finally got all the furniture in, after a few hiccups...baby girls crib had to be replaced because the first order came damaged, and then the dresser we ordered from amazon came broken on one corner and we just got a new one yesterday, just need to assemble. all thats left really is some wall decor, and buying their essential clothes n things. Can't wait until its all done and then i can feel relaxed!

Hey girls! Hope everyone is doing well! I missed the last couple weeks...been a bad bumper...my mind is everywhere these days!

I am 35 weeks 2 days today and according to my doctor, measuring over 39 weeks! I feel huge and struggle to breathe most of the time because my giant baby hasn't dropped so his big ole butt is up in my rib cage! Lol

I have an ultrasound on July 2nd to see what's going on in there, since I am measuring quite a bit ahead of what I should be. They will see if I have a giant baby or maybe just some extra fluid in there.

Other than that, nothing much happening here...still haven't finished the nursery (we are almost there), but decorations and his shelf still need to be hung. I still need to organize baby's clothes and whatnot as well. Doesn't help that I do one thing and then pant like I ran a marathon. :-P

Is it July yet? I am ready to meet my boy and be able to breathe again!

How far along are you? I am 35 weeks and having a boy. Due date is July 28th

Upcoming appointments? I have an appointment next week and then I will be going every week.

Any updates to share? Baby AJ is already 6 pounds and 5 ounces. My MD suspects if I go to full term he will be 8 to 8.5 pounds, so this is interesting. Although I have been told I may not go to term.

How are you feeling? I am feeling well. A little overwhelmed trying to get last minute things in place.

QOTW: How is everyone coming along with their LO’s rooms? Anything major left to do? We are still arranging his clothes. Need to put his bedding on and wait for him to come!
