High-Risk Pregnancy

High risk, multiples, T1.5 diabetes and....

I feel like this list gets longer and longer each visit.

Multiple losses
pg w twin
type 1.5 diabetes
insulin pump
baby b has tachycardia
losing weight
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

I just want to enjoy this pregnancy not be on edge every day. Weekly MFM visits, weekly blood & urine tests and weekly u/s

anyone else?

  • I have twins and really liked Dr Luke's book, pregnancy with twins, triplets or quads.  Maybe having a how-to will help you feel better?  I lost weight in 1st and 2nd tri because I vomited so much.  Zofran was my BFF and the sea-sick bands available now. 
  • Not sure how far along you are, but congrats! Just try and take one day at a time. By the end of your pregnancy, you will probably have 2-3 visits each week with your OB and MFM. I have T1 and it was tough to go through all of the appointments, especially toward the end. The best thing for you to do is to try to eat healthy and keep your blood sugars in check. It gets harder the farther along you go, especially with multiples. Hang in there!
