NBR: Spiders Everywhere!

A spider joined me in the shower this morning. When I got out there was another one on the bathroom mirror. Then when I got to work there was a spider hanging out on my desk.

Evidently it's spider season around here, because seriously.

    I had a couple weeks where we were finding like 3 or 4 a day in my house. I also had one in the shower and on te bathroom mirror. One fell in the shower when my poor daughter was in there. Thankfully she handled it well. Knock on wood theyve seemed to die down. Hopefully your spider encounters will too!

    I am terrified of spiders, but can't kill them. I trap them and free them outside.

    Today, however, I got the most disgusting shock. I have this little corner of my office - I pulled a partition in front of it, put some blankets and a pillow down, and christened it "The Nap Pad." I used it during my lunch hours through 1st tri and have recently been returning to it due to aching body. I went to use it just now, and THERE WAS A GIANT COCKROACH IN THE BLANKETS. Now of course the nap pad is no more. And I couldn't kill the cockroach. I trapped it and freed it as well!

    I haven't noticed a lot of spiders, but the ants are crazy around here this year! I have cleaned out all of the cabinets and put out poison, and every day there is a happy little train of the buggers!

    I despise spiders. I won't even kill them because I have this ridiculous fear that they will come get me if I kill them or will jump at me something crazy like that. I had one in the kitchen yesterday with me, I finally killed it because I had to cook and it was near my feet and I was NOT playing that game. So I killed it and left it there with the shoe on in it until H got home.

    I don't like killing them either, but they scare the crap out of me. I usually rescue them with a cup and take them outside, or ask DH to do it for me. He humors me.
