Thoughts on Hoyt? Even if you dont like it or its not your taste. What middle name would you choose. Im thinking something longer because Hoyt is so short and one syllable.
Joey says to Monica in FRIENDS "I always pictured you marrying a tall, blond guy named, like, Hoyt....What, it's a real name!" It does sound pretentious to me. Not a fan, sorry!
Never seen True Blood. Though I assume it must be a character. My husband is very much into hunting. Hoyt is a Brand of Archery. It also was a name used in the late 1800s to early 1900s I believe.
Hoyt Arthur was the first name that popped into my mind. It's not a name I'd use, but I don't hate it. It does make me think of True Blood, but I like his character so no biggie to me.

A friend of mine just used it. They are really into hunting, so they were thinking the same thing, haha. They used Hoyt Andrew. Also considered Hoyt Matthew. Good Luck!
I live in a rural area and my BIL is big into archery. First thing I think is the bow. It would be along the same lines as using Remington to me, but I don't like the sound it makes. Just don't name him Hoyt Archer or Hoyt Fletcher (but Archer and Fletcher would be fine first names without Hoyt involved).

Hoyt Alexander is nice
But if you're going to use it as a first name, Andrew, Jackson, or Nathan would be good choices.
Hoyt Amadeus
Hoyt David
Hoyt James
Hoyt Jason
Hoyt Jules
Hoyt Larry
Hoyt Nicholas
Hoyt Rene

I can't say I accept it in any shape or form.
