Gluten free mamas (and babies)

What bread are you giving LO, if any. I had been using Rudis and Udis but then realized honey was an ingredient. Calling nurse to see if that's an issue later (they are at lunch) I just know dr had said no honey yet...

  • @sctiger We are in the same boat. J eats wheat (albeit not that much) but he is really into sharing with me and for contamination reasons (I'm super sensitive) things like bread are just easier to have as GF. @subliminalrabbit‌ I was thinking that too! I thought a graham cracker would be a yummy snack for him ...haha not like GF me would know :) ... But saw the same, honey.

Thank you both for your input. I figured it would probably be ok, due to it being baked and such a small amount but over anxious me strikes again! Thanks again!

  • I thought it was raw honey under a year that was the concern?

I'm sure graham crackers and GF bread are fine.

  • I spoke with the nurse and she also verified it is ok to give bread with honey baked into it. Thanks again!'
  • I am GF, X is not. Haven't ever looked at ingredients.

Honey doesn't have to be baked anymore now that they are a year old. Safe for them to eat.
