Pregnancy Announcement Photos

If you are doing them, how long are you all waiting before taking them?  

I figure if all goes well, we will be announcing at the end of July, but we will be seeing a photographer friend in MI this weekend and she offered to do a big set of photos for FREE.  I told her that I'm nervous about doing them so early (I'll be 8 weeks when we do them), so I demanded that she hold them hostage until I'm ready to show them to the world.  

What are you ladies doing?

    We didn't do any special photos for the announcement, but we did a maternity/couple session at 29 weeks.

    If she is doing them for free, I say go for it! Get a few great couple shots in there that aren't strictly baby related.

    I would be really nervous to do them until I was out of the first tri.
