This is one of my biggest pet peeves. DH and I mock people and say it to each other whenever we complain about something. We also mock people who say "Don't wish it away." Yeah, no shit, Dummy. Just because I'm saying I'm looking forward to something a year from now doesn't mean I'm not going to enjoy the year leading up to it.

Dear sweet husband,
Thank you for always being there for me. You are my rock and I so very much appreciate your support. I love that you love me, and I love to reciprocate that. I can only hope that you see how much I honestly love you, thoroughly, completely, and unconditionally... but I will continue to try to show you every day, until my dying day.
Thank you for always having my back when people decide that our parenting style is open for debate and believe that they have the right to override our decisions. I especially appreciate this when the stubborn, overbearing person throwing a tantrum (that you stop cold in mid-whine) is your mother.
