I've been meaning to type out a "hey..what's up...remember me?" thread for a while now and finally I'm sitting here at midnight (the only free alone time I have) and I can bet that no one is even awake. Boo. Hopefully you guys will see it tomorrow. I've been lurking a little tonight and WOW these siggy pics are amazing, I can't believe how everyone's LOs have grown and how freakin cute they all are! And damn we sure have some fertile Myrtles up in J12, lots of you are pregnant that I don't remember being pregnant before I went MIA, so CONGRATS!
Since I've gone missing, H and I have both started new jobs. I took the position at the pet hospital I interviewed at back in March and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my job. It keeps me super busy which on one hand is awesome because my days go by so fast, and on the other hand it sucks because I miss piddling around on facebook and J12 all day! H is now employed once again in lumber retail, he got a store manager position so things are looking much better around here financially. I'm still looking into going to school in the fall, I've been accepted and all that, but I'm being really wishy washy about pulling the trigger and getting enrolled. I didn't realize how much I would love my new gig, and although it should be a no-brainer to hurry up and get my masters to earn double the dough, I still am not ready to leave the hospital. In a perfect world I could do both, but I have no clue how I would juggle a school schedule with a work schedule and afford child care. I'm going to make some appointments with the head of my potential college and see what the workload is going to be like for my undergrad pre-reqs and go from there. Maybe ask my boss to let me go part time. We'll see.
Taylor is doing great, if you consider being an ornery mess great. lol. She is finally starting to put words together into short sentences and is saying and learning new things every day. She has grown a headful of gorgeous ringlets (mostly in the back) and we can't go anywhere without a stranger cooing over her and her pretty curls, which of course she eats right up. She has gotten ridiculously clingly lately and is a major mama's girl. Those of you who have been jealous of my child's sleeping habits in the past will be delighted to know that she has been a major pain in the ass lately. We just converted her crib to the toddler bed because she would get hysterical and climb out. It seems like overnight we went from being able to put her down without one tear shed to her being a snotty, crying mess when we set one foot toward the door. She will only go to sleep if we stay in the room with her which sucks donkey balls. And then she comes crying into the bedroom like clockwork at 2 am, and because we're weak and spineless, we let her sleep with us. It's a ton of fun.
So, that's what's going on with me. Someone with a good memory please fill me in on any drama I've missed the past few months! I can't promise I can be here every day commenting on everyone's shit, but I am going to try to pop in a little more often than I have been! Missed you girls!
