Book Club???

I know this was discussed back in May when lots and lots of people were still coming in, but I haven't seen mention of it since then. Even with only about half the board here when it was first brought up, we had quite a few people interested.

Is this something we still want to do? When do we want to start? How often do we want to read a new book? Any other suggestions, ideas or opinions welcome!!!

I'm in! I've seen other boards do a weekly check in. After we pick a book we decided on a goal for that week, talk about it and set another goal for the next week.

I won't be participating in this one. I don't like to read that much but I can suggest a great series to read if you like mysteries. The Nina Reilly series by Perri O'Shaugnessy (sp?). I highly recommend it!

I'm in. I like the idea of voting on the book, and people can join or drop out each month depending on if they are interested in the book that month.

I will skip all tearjerkers. I am already crying for no reason these days.

I think we could start any day now, but it's probably best if it's a monthly meet-up. I can polish off a book in no time flat, but everyone reads at different rates. If you want an "official" start date, why not just choose the first of the month? That makes it easy to remember.

Just my two cents, I'm interested though!

If you posted your recommendation here it would be cool to cross post it there for voting to be polled
