My dad and his Wife live close by and like to try to come visit once a week or so. Which is fine but we are still not on any sort of consistent nap schedule during the day so on any given day I don't know when she'll be napping or awake.
In other words, some days she'll take a 3-hr nap in the middle of the day, sometimes she will only take 45-minute naps. It is still very unpredictable.
The only thing I know about today is that I have to leave to pick DS up from camp at a certain time so if she is napping I have to wake her up for that. I don't want to disrupt another nap for visitors. At the same time I know my dad and his wife don't want to sit here with me while DD naps upstairs.
So WDYD or WWYD? Just pick a time and if she's sleeping when they get here just say oh well she's asleep? They just want to come by for an hour. What are some other options that don't include waking the baby up when they get here?
And it's pretty normal that we're not on any sort of schedule yet, right? She just turned 2 months.
