My LO was really fussy earlier in the day, cheered up a bit later in the day but for fussy again at night. I still have not given her any Tylenol. Hoping she sleeps ok tonight and is back to her cheery self tomorrow.
We were told no Tylenol before the shots because it could mask any reaction the shots may give him. He never had a fever but he got super cranky and I did one dose of Tylenol.
I haven't given any yet. Shots were today. She has been really fussy, but I forgot to ask what dosage to give her, so for now we are just riding it out
Weight check, Tylenol, then shots. He slept that whole afternoon and was really cranky when he woke up, but he was cheery by bath time. I gave him Tylenol during his middle of the night feeding and the next morning, per doctor's orders. He didn't develop a fever, and his thighs didn't even get red, but Skippy used to have febrile seizures, so the doctor recommended the Tylenol for 24 hours to prevent LO from spiking a fever.

DD was very irritable the evening of and you could tell it hurt he when I moved her legs around so I gave a Tylenol dose. I then gave her another one the following (late) morning because she felt as if she had a temp.
Didn't give Tylenol. DS had a low fever that maxed out at 99 deg under the arm, so I didn't deem it necessary. He was a little fussy, but nothing that extra snuggles couldn't resolve.
Ibuprofen. She didnt have a fever but after I put her to sleep she woke up screaming bloody murder about an hour later and her theigh was red and swollen. Poor thing, it made me cry. Doc told us to use ibuprofen, not tylenol. Worked liked charm

The Tylenol reduces the efficacy of the vaccine so it's counterproductive unless the baby us is serious, serious discomfort.
