Uhhhhhh
So I'm 8w pp and started my period about 4 days ago, and let me tell you, my ute is not messing around. I've always passed quite a few clots during my time of the month, but I've had some monsters. Bleeding through my diva cup (holds over an ounce) in 3 hours. DH is horrified.

Anyone else have their period yet (despite EBF in my case) and experience the most intense bleeding ever?!

AF came back but it's not any worse than usual. Before I had kids I was a clotter, I couldn't form a clot to save my life now.

Yep yep. Normally I have always had light periods that lasted no longer then 3 days. I got my 1st period 9-10wks PP & it was insane. Didn't feel crampy at all but I think I lost a gallon a blood a day

My first period with DS was like that. I remember putting in a super absorbency tampon before going to lunch with a friend and going to the bathroom right after we got there. I had already soaked through the tampon and I was horrified....thought I was dying! I had never soaked through a tampon before!

Yes! My first pp period was the period from hell! I've never bled so much. I seriously considered calling the doctor. Or going to the ER! I was soaking through a super tampon it about an hour. It eased off after 2 days but the period lasted for a little over a week. And talk about cramps... ugh! Hopefully the next one isn't like this. It better not be my new norm!

Got mine almost a week ago and I'm STILL bleeding like crazy. I thought all of the post-birth bleeding was enough, but I thought wrong!!! Crazy!!!! And the PMS mood swings are back too. I thought my husband was going to lock me in the basement last weekend I was so awful!!!

I started the pill last Sunday... got my period 4 days later, Ugh! I hope this doesn't mean I will get my period TWICE this month when I finish this pack. I am bleeding more than normal too... and the CRAMPS... good god! Luckily, I had some of my IBprofen600's from my Csection I could take...

I experienced my first period pp at 4 weeks exactly despite breastfeeding/pumping. I was going to call my OB because it was horrible and lasted a week and a half. I went back on the pill at 6 weeks pp and the following week I got my period again. I was slightly concerned about how long it was lasting (before pregnancy and on the pill I'd maybe experience my period for 2-3 days).

Although mine wasn't particularly heavy, it lasted 4 whole bloody weeks (scuse the pun). It kept fading away and I thought it was finished and then it would come back again. Just hope the next one is a bit more normal!

I had my first one 6 weeks pp. The week before I had some crazy mood swings, just biting off DH's head for stupid stuff. I didn't have cramps but the flow was so heavy that I considered calling the Dr. It lasted a whole week. Hopefully not the new normal.
