For all the moms that are doing this alone whether it be by choice or not, whether it's because you felt it best or dad just couldn't handle being a dad- props to you all! My daughter's dad walked out when she was about a month old and has seen her once since. Between work, my online classes I need to take in order to graduate this coming spring, and being a single mom I've found that I hardly have a minute to myself to just be stress free. I absolutely love my daughter to death but when I have a quiz or an assignment due she never fails to become so crabby that I can't get a thing done, and same for in the mornings when I'm trying to get ready for work.

That is tough, being a single mom is probably one of the hardest things you can do. My mom raised my bro & I on her own, couldn't even count on child support checks from my dad. We were on welfare for the better half of my childhood. My mom made the best of it tho, she managed to graduate with a mechanical engineering degree by the time I was in middle school. It took her a while to do it & we relied on govt welfare since she couldn't do school & work enough to support us. She is def a success story & she has 2 grown kids that are successful & now have babies of their own! You likely have a bumpy road ahead but you can do it & your daughter will look up to you with love & awe!

Aside from work, I completely understand. E's dad left for good just after thanksgiving and he's only seen her at 8 days and 8 weeks old because we had paperwork to do. The only time I can ever get school done is when she's nursing! I've become a pretty decent one handed typer lol. Hang in there though! I'm sure things will get 'easier' in time

I have so much admiration for you ladies who are doing this alone. It's not easy with a partner, so I can only imagine the difficulties of single parenthood. Best wishes to you amazing mamas
