Cloth Diapering

Frugi / Tots Bots Question

I just got the Sealife print from Frugi / Tots Bots and have a question... The inside part of the diaper that would touch LOs skins feels much more like microfiber than minky. Is that normal for Tots Bots? I'm terrified to put it on LO for fear of giving her a monster rash.... Thanks in Advance!

Re: Frugi / Tots Bots Question

  • Have you washed it? As a v.4, it should be minky and bamboo, so I wouldn't worry about it. You can always flip the tongue over instead of tucking it in so the bamboo is on her bum if you want :)

  • You will have to let us know .... I posted a little while ago asking if anyone had tried a 4.0 yet, and it seemed there were some supply issues. So it looks like you may be the first on this board to get ahold of one! I've been eyeing that Sealife print, too. But I have to get over my dislike of minky if I'm going to buy one.
  • mrscjmb9410  Thanks! It almost seemed like it could be a manufacturing error that the soft side is not the side designed to touch baby. I feel much better now and can't wait to get home and try it out!

  • Frugi is a designer that has partnered with Tots Bots (a diaper company) to create limited edition prints. Does that help?

  • Also Frugi makes really cute clothes that fit really well over CDs.
  • The V4 does look and feel kinda like micro, but it's only mf on the inside part that doesn't touch baby's skin.  It feels more like a towel to me on the part that touches baby's skin.  I wish they would use the bamboo like they had on the V2.
