3 weeks PP...awful rash!

I noticed a rash on my hands and forearms yesterday and just assumed it was irritation from washing hands so much with the new baby. When I woke up this morning though it's now on my legs too! It's itchy but not maddening. From what I'm reading, it could be post partum pupps? Just wonderin I anyone has had anything similar while I wait for the doctors office!

    Not a June mama here but I lurked here during pregnancy since I was due end of May (so being a creepy lurker and now posting)....I got PP pupps with my first son. It was miserable! I had it on my legs and the itching was just maddening. I called my OB and told them about my symptoms and they called in a prescription steroid cream for me to use. I honestly can't remember anymore how long it took to go away but the cream helped a lot and I want to say it was maybe a week or so. I am pretty sure it goes away on its own but I could not deal with how intense my itching was so I called.

    It could be PP PUPPPs, I'd talk to your OB about it.

    I have the same rash on my arms, legs, and hips. It doesn't look like pupps that I looked at online, so kinda thought it wasn't that. My doctor told me at 11 days pp it was a delayed reaction to medication. The last week I have used nothing on my skin except cetaphil and calamine lotion, not deodorant lotion shampoo perfume, nothing. I have seen improvements, especially on my arms, but trying to get in to be seen ASAP cause this is driving me insane. I'll update if I learn more, please update if you see improvements. Good luck!

    I haven't been seen yet but I was told it was either contact dermatitis or puppps. They told me to take Claritin 3 times a day and use cortisone 10 and if it doesn't improve in a few days they want to see me. So far my arms look a little better but my legs are worse. The itching has subsided some though
