Our home study is tomorrow!

Everything is clean, organized and ready. I'll probably just do a quick clean in the morning because I'm OCD but I think we're ready. I'm so nervous. Talk me down ladies! Thanks everyone :-)

    You are gonna be fine, it really isn't a big deal. Mostly talking and paperwork and a BRIEF glance around the house.

    Moving on to Adoption : matched 5/14! 
    Our beautiful son was born August 25, 2014!!

    No matter how many times you hear that it will be a breeze, it's just normal that you will worry.  Still, you will be just fine.  They aren't looking to exclude you.  They want to help you adopt, and will only exclude families that they feel could not safely raise an adopted child.  You have nothing to fear here.

    Lots of wishes for a calm wait until then, and have a great visit!

    Exactly. It will be over and done with before you know it. Ours was maybe 25 minutes. No need to freak out over it.
    Pursing Domestic Infant Adoption through a local agency. In the meantime, our dog is our baby.  Bumping from Portland, Oregon.
