My daughter turned one a few days ago, and we have been transitioning her to WCM from Enfamil for about 2 weeks. Here lies the issue:
We had been purchasing our formula from Amazon subscribe and save, and miscalculated and have far too much. Like over $50 worth of formula too much. I cannot return it because it is part of a larger shipment of formula from the subscribe and save and I cannot return it piecemeal.
Do I?
1. Donate the extra formula?
2. Try to sell it (which I have done, but I have no takers so far)
3. Or give it to her by keeping the transition to WCM very slow in order to use up all the formula.
4. Something else entirely
I am tempted to do WCM during the day at daycare (that means I can quit making bottles for daycare each night), but continuing to give a bottle of formula first thing in the AM and before bed. But if I do this, it will take me even longer to get rid of the formula.
What should I do?
Edited to add: I feel kinda cheap contemplating giving her formula longer than necessary or age-appropriate because I have it in my house. But I really don't want all of this to go to waste!

IT'S A BOY
I love this idea and just put aside a few cans of formula and food Olivia would not eat/drink. Definitely finding a shelter to donate this week.
ETA: not eat/drink... durrr.
