AW: First Beta's!! Update......

First Beta's are in (I think I'm 4w2d) at 484!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They said as long as they were over 100 they were good to schedule the ultrasound.  I had told DH I wanted to see it over 400 so I'm happy!!!  We won't do another as they are obviously doubling and I'll be scheduling my first u/s for July 10!

Update:  So my beta's still look great.  There's no change in that.  But I just went to the bathroom and there's a bunch of brown blood.  Yes it's brown but this doesn't seem to be reassuring.  Now I'm waiting for a call back from the doctor. I hate everything about this.

Update #2:  Talked to the nurse.  We'll be doing another blood draw on Wednesday to see what's going on with my numbers.  So FX for Wednesday!

    I am sorry to see that update!  Praying that it is just normal old brown blood and that everything is OK.  I had some bleeding around 5 weeks and it was scary, but everything has been fine since.  Everything crossed for you!!!!

    T&Ps that the blood is just old blood being expelled. My 1st beta at 4wks1 was 50. The next day it was 82.6. I had some brown spotting/bleeding for the 1st two weeks, and beta kept rising appropriately.

    Those are great betas!!

    I'm sorry to see the update. Brown blood is such a mindfluck. Remember that even the smallest amount of brow blood, when mixed with clear CM will look like a lot more than it really is. FX it's nothing and the ob/re calls you back ASAP.

    Congrats on great betas!  I am sorry you have to deal with the stress of spotting, though.  I hope you hear back from your doctor soon and they can get you in for some reassurance!  (((HUGS)))

    Those betas are fantastic. Hopefully the brown blood isn't anything bad. Many, many times it is harmless. FX that's all it is.

    I'm sorry you are having brown spotting. Fwiw, I had brown with this pregnancy and baby boy is healthy and ready to greet us!! I truly hope that your dr gets back to you soon for some reassurance!! ((Hugs))

    That's great news about your betas! Woo hoo! Sorry you're having a spotting scare. I hope your doctor gets back to you soon and it ends up being NBD.

    Fingers crossed that the spotting is nothing. Your beta is great so take comfort in that! I know how hard this is though, I definitely understand.
