So now I'm paranoid about my child's poops. A woman in the waiting room at the ob office today commented on the audible gassiness of my LOs poop. I was waiting to go back and she had a bowel movement that you could hear if you were near us. It sounded like it always does, watery and gassy. Granted, this was a huge poop. I changed her soon as I got into the room and I was surprised at the amount. But you've always been able to hear her poops come out. The woman made me feel like this was abnormal, saying that I must have a lot of problems with her and gas. When in fact webe had none (knock on wood). So… Is there something wrong? Do your breastfed babies make it known when they're doing their business?
Re: Breastfed baby poop and a comment from a stranger
Natural miscarriage @ 8 weeks - 3/8/2005
Big Brother "Skippy" born - 2/28/2007
Missed miscarriage - (EDD 3/5/2013) - D&E @ 11 weeks - 8/8/2012
"Hen" (EDD 6/7/2013) - born sleeping @ 19 weeks - 1/15/2013
"G-Unit" born - 4/14/2014 and he's 100% perfection!!
It is completely normal and that woman needs to make sure she knows what she's talking about rather than stressing out random women in the waiting room for no reason.
Always a lady.

And BTW, once the poop is complete, our baby smiles
