Do you mean bf? Yes, many can. But, most on here seem to have varying experiences with pain, irritation, and how long supply lasts.
This. My personal experience with my almost 2 yo is discomfort that started very early in the pregnancy (before my BFP) and has gotten progressively worse to the point now (I'll be 20 wks on Monday) that it's very, very painful and I'm trying to gently distract DS when he asks to nurse in hopes of weaning him.
After reading what @therasat858 said and being told by my MW that most women transition from milk production to colostrum at around 20 weeks, my guess is that I'm dry nursing now which is why it has recently become so painful.
That said, if you're LO is young and still nurses a lot, I've read online about women that have successfully nursed through most or all of their pregnancy and when pumping noticed that one breast was producing colostrum and the other still produced milk.
I nursed until I was 32 weeks and DS was 2. I was uncomfortable and had some pain from 8-14 weeks but then was fine. I periodically would just feel really annoyed at nursing and generally uncomfortable but it wasn't all the time. I don't think I ever fully lost my supply. Once I was pregnant, I limited nursing to morning, nap and bedtime and pushed to get rid of overnight nursing. Then I dropped nap then morning, then night.
Re: Can u fb while pregnant?
I'm reading this thinking, "why can't you facebook during pregnancy?"
