Who watched?

I think it was an interesting ep. I'm not sure if I believe Tara died. We would have seen a big character exit like that on screen, not heard about it later, from an unreliable source at that.

And does anyone wear clothes under their clothes or is that a southern thing (or an HBO thing)?! We northerners have layers even in summer!

I also do not think that Tara actually died. I agree that it would have been a much bigger scene if they were actually killing off a major character.

I do not layer in the summertime. The humidity here in the south is miserable, so the less clothes, the better, in my opinion.

Well, I'm ok with that. Tara wasn't my favorite anyway.

I was happy to see Alcide in good form though. The actor was on Hollywood Game Night and the man isn't just pretty. Swoon.

I have lots of thoughts and questions:

Isn't Tara already "dead" since she's a vampire? I don't trust her mother.

Also, what is wrong with Sookie? Walking home alone and throwing her phone--it's like she has no concept of danger at all. She just annoys me so much.

Was Jessica's boyfriend played by a new actor? He didn't look familiar, but I assumed he was the guy from the vampire jail?

I need Eric to be back pronto. He needs to be in my life and on my TV...

I really like Alcide. He's no Eric, but he's sooo much better than Bill.

New actor for Jessica s boyfriend.

All the characters are so annoying. I used to root for Sookie and Jessica and Jason. All of them have annoyed me.

Need more Eric ASAP.

True blood seasons always start slow. But I'm not optimistic for a satisfying end.

I think she looked a bit gaunt last season, but I assume she really focused too much on losing the weight after twins.

There was an article a few weeks back that she does a healthy liquid diet. Check out her "lunch". And let me add, no thank you, I'll just stay flabby and enjoy my sandwich.

I also don't think Tara is gone. I think she killed baldy and that was his remains.

I commented on Sookies body last night too. It was more along the lines of cursing personal trainers and nutritionists. If only I were rich....

I hope Eric turns up soon. I need me some sexy.

I'm a little annoyed they've veered so far from the books. I know Charlaine said it's supposed to be another experience, or whatever, but good grief.

Eric's more responsible for the hep v. Because he knew about it immediately and just like, dicked around for a few days and then smashed some boxes at the factory. Instead of actually alerting anyone (like the FDA, like the true blood woman was going to do). We just rewatched the last season this week and it reminded me how little sense it all made. This show relies way too much on "it's campy! It's eye candy! Don't take it seriously!" No! Your show should still make sense, damnit!

I was underwhelmed by last night's episode. I also think Anna Paquin is looking too thin for her frame.
