I do not have experience taking clomid but I hope you are seeing an RE and not an OBGYN for fertility meds. I would call the office and ask about directions for taking any medications.

Me: 26 DH: 27
TTC #1 Since Aug. 2013
Cycle 1: O CD 25=bfn
Cycle 2: O CD 48=bfn
Cycle 3: Anovulatory/Provera =120 days!
Cycle 4: Anovulatory/Prometrium=127 days! RE consult 6/16
You can guarantee you won't get any tips here on when to take it. Its a very serious medication that needs to be strictly monitored by a Dr preferably a RE. If you are not I would recommend doing so for your safety asap and run from the Dr who gave it to you as of now.

Honestly, this response rubbed me the wrong way. I mean I'm totally on the same page with you assuming that the OP is seeing an OB and not an RE, but honestly, the "what time did you take your clomid" question is one of the more common ones over on 3T.
My RE left it up to me- he just said to be consistent with the time of day, and to let the nurse know before my first monitoring appointment so that they could assess the growth with that in mind.
I can see your point. Although I haven't taken clomid, when I took Provera the dr didn't tell me a time to take it. the pharmacist recommend in the evening in case it made me sick to my stomach. I read old posts on here to find out when other bumpies took it.

My RE has me on clomid (25mg) cycles 5-9 and I was told to take it with a large glass of liquid before going to bed to try and avoid side affects that some women experience. If I have side affect with it I've never noticed!!

My apologies for not responding. I'm with my in-laws.
Are you here now? How long have you been trying? What's the deal, are you being monitored by an RE? Have you had an HSG, your SO sperm analysis? If these tests aren't all clear then the Clomid is useless.
Don't doctors and/or pharmacists typically tell you when to take the hardcore drugs they prescribe?

Re: Clomid..what time of the day?
She went to call her friend that gave her her leftover Clomid when she took it.
