So scary.

Today i took my lo in the ergo with my mil to get some additional items to make his bday cake. I prefer the carriage since the local grocery is on the other side of the tracks and there are about 30 stairs and no elevator. Anyway, I just crossed the street and as I stepped on the sidewalk, I fell. I tried to keep lo's head from hitting the ground but it did hit a little bit. He sobbed. My pants were ripped open, knee bleeding, wrist cut. was so upset, thinking if I got hurt how does he feel!!! We fell right in front of a doctors office so I ran in and they saw him right away. The doc thinks he's fine. I'm so upset and shaken up. I keep replaying the scene in my head. It's devastating.

Not to mention his bday was yesterday and he got sick in the middle if the night. Tomorrow is his party and I'm hoping he will wake up feeling better.

My poor baby boy.

    Oh no! I'm so glad you were able to get him checked so quickly! That sounds so scary! Hopefully he will be feeling all better for his party tomorrow.

    Aw sweetie that is scary! But it happens to the best of us, it's a shame that we didn't get a side of grace with all the other joys of motherhood :)

    So glad y'all are okay. Falling is scary. You were so lucky to be examined right away. Happy Birthday to your little one!

    This happened to me in April, Me and C fell- I had a big, bloody knee, had a chip off off my ankle bone and had a bad ankle sprain. Don't beat yourself up over it. It's not the first or last time a mom has fell with her kid in her arms. He'll be fine and I'm sure the Dr. gave him the OK. When it happened to C I just made sure she didn't have any signs of a concussion- disoriented, throwing up.

    That sounds so scary! It's good to hear that the doctor thinks he is ok though! Poor little guy!

    Thank you, ladies. It was super scary. My lo is fine but I'm still picturing the awfulness in my mind... His head hitting the ground. Jesus.

    I'm sorry so many of you have had falls too. Thank goodness everyone has been ok.

    @kelseypie‌ did you post about that when it happened? I remember reading about a fall and was so upset about it.
