  That's a bummer.  I make it a point to shut people like that up when I encounter them.  They don't know you or your situation so they can suck it.

  Ugh I absolutely hate that shit!! I'm young too (21) and I've had my fair share of comments too. You need to do what you can and find all the resources you can to support yourself and your little one. That's not being a bad mother if some of those involve welfare. In our area in Canada, I'm hesitant to go on welfare because then social services can be part of our lives regardless if I want them to or not. That's not something that interests me… And actually, something that worries me so I'm hoping to avoid being part of "the system" if I can, only for that reason. 

  
  

  And people who think you're a slut or whatever obviously don't understand how babies are made… It only takes one time to make a baby, right? So how are you a slut? Ugh I dunno people like that frustrate me too.

  Don't give assholes like that the satisfaction of ruining your day. Can you imagine what sad little people they are if they have nothing better to do than bully a young pregnant woman who is obviously facing some financial difficulties? Fuck 'em.
