  Ok, to be honest, I rolled my eyes when I saw this all over the internet. Didn't want to be bothered to watch it. Glad I did. It's freaking funny as hell. I want to be that mom.

  The mom of the little girl I babysat did this for her. She was a biggie hippie, of course, but I actually thought it was really cool. She only invited over a few women and girls who already had their periods. It was no boys allowed naturally. It was mostly just people sharing their stories. And she got a pair of red underpants. 

  
  

  It must be the 2nd generation hippie in me that makes me think the concept is sweet.

  My mama actually did something similar except it was a "red dinner" so we ate various red food items. It was quite embarrassing!
