Short version After 9 months and being 10 days over due we finally got to welcome Lane Robert into the world. He is absolutely perfect at 7 pounds exactly and 21 inches long. I never knew I could fall in love so fast

Long version
On June 19th we checked into the hospital for a scheduled induction at 5:30pm I was 1cm.
We got settled and started the pitocin by 10:45 my contractions were 2 minutes apart and doubling on top of each other, I was dilated to 4cm and decided to get the epidural(best thing ever!!) my water broke as I sat up to have the epidural placed. The epidural was great for about an hour then I could feel so much pain on my left side. They had me roll onto my left side and the nurse hit the button on the drip a few times. At 3:30am I got checked and I was at 9.5 cm, the doctor decided I should labor down for a little bit she told me to call for her when I felt pressure like I needed to poop.
About ten minutes later the nurse came in again and boosted my epidural, at this point I couldn't even feel my ribs and I fell asleep. The doctor came in and woke me up at 5:00 am. Little man was more then ready to make his appearance when she checked me she laughed and said time to push I can see his hair!
15 minutes of pushing 2 small tears and at 5:34 am Lane Robert came into the world screaming. We did skin to skin right away! We had some issues with him latching so we are using a shield and it's working great!

7 pounds exactly and 21 inches long.
