Rec your diaper bag!

My Vera Bradley backpack one is starting to wear on the handle and I want to use it for the next baby so I think I want a new one before it gets too worn out. I want Something durable and that holds a lot but not to big. I like the back pack style but I'm open to others.

Go!

Re: Rec your diaper bag!

  • I am clearly hard at work today... I have this one from PBkids. I cannot say enough good things about it. If you do get it, don't wash the changing mat, it said not to, I didn't listen, it disintegrated. I replaced it with a cuter one from etsy, win-win.

I have this one from 31. Cheap, durable, plenty of storage.

  • We have the Skip Hop Essential diaper bag and LOVE it. It is compact but roomy, and DH is willing to carry it.

Disclaimer: I am totally not a purse-type girl, so I had zero requirement that the diaper bag look like a purse. I love that this one comes in so many colors, though! We have it in grey so as to be man-friendly, but there are lots of other options.

  • I love my petunia pickle bottom! Easy to keep clean, stylish, roomy! It's pricier, but it's worth it to me since it's all I carry! (I use it as my purse too!)

  • I started out with the PPB boxy backpack, but for me I felt like it was a Black hole and lacked organization. I use a jujube now and LOVE IT! I wish they had simpler patterns, but regardless easy to clean and organize, durable, I can fit a lot in there.
  • JuJuBe BFF!! I'm a bag slut and this one is by far my favorite. It holds so much stuff, there are a ton of handy compartments, the crumb catcher thing at the bottom. It can be a backpack, tote, or messenger. Machine washable. As far as diaper bags go, it's the dreamiest. https://www.amazon.com/Ju-Ju-Be-B-F-F-Diaper-Shadow-Waltz/dp/B003UERREA/ref=sr_1_2?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1403135595&sr=1-2&keywords=ju+ju+be+bff
  • ...I feel sad that I'm so passionate about a diaper bag. :(
  • I have jj cole caprice. It was a shower gift and I'm in love with it. One of the zipper tabs fell off and the company replaced the whole bag. Cute, trendy, roomy, not super expensive. I've used it for stuff for 2-3 kids and there's plenty of room. I was also looking at the skip hop (grand caravan?) that seems like the way to go for more than 1 kiddo.

  • I have that freebie one too and it's not bad! I use it as a back up.

  • I went a diff route and bought a mediumish Kate spade tote at the outlet. For organization, I bought an insert on amazon, kt baby, I believe. It's been great! I have a little mesh bag on the side of my stroller for a few toys.
  • Ladies with the 31 bags, that is what I use with a zipper pouch for each of my kids. Diapers, wipes, changing pad, butt paste, baggies, and change of clothes in each zipper pouch. We just spent two days at Disney and this was the only bag I took. Two zipper pouches, bottles, food, 31 wallet with phone. Good and compact! I love that when it was time for diaper changes, dh took 2+ year old and his zipper pouch, I took baby and hers, and everybody had what they needed. I can't recommend it enough!

I have this one too in the grey dots pattern! Love it.
We have the grey damask one - we use it for school :-) when it's just us, I have a j&j cole diaper clutch that I just toss into my giant purse and thankfully it has two "phone pouches" that her bottles fit in perfectly!
