Hi, everybody

Just wanted to finally introduce myself after lurking for quite some time.

DH and I have been together for 6 years and are expecting our first little one. I was originally planing to start working on a Master of Science in Midwifery this fall and DH is finishing up his Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree this August. We'll be opening up a practice early next year. This little parasite was very much planned but I'm second guessing how I'll handle all the newness (also moving 45 minutes south in September) so I've decided to push back the schooling a year.

I've learned so much from you all over the last couple of months, had some great laughs and unexpected cries. I look forward to contributing and getting to know everyone.

You're not alone @RN536! My mom is only now getting used to it.

I've found that I'm more apt to call it a little parasite in jest when I've spent some time in vomit town or have lived days with a migraine. Wouldn't take back one second of it if I could especially in the early days when that was all I had to remind myself of the awesomeness baking away.

Glad you recognized it! She's my absolute favorite and I'm pretty sure was my first TV character crush. I named my cat after her as well. As a kitten she would keep me up all night being freaking nuts like cats tend to do and I found that she would calm down soon after I would hold her up in a headstand. Just like Ezri!
