My personal favorite is to enjoy each stage as it happens. A coworker told me she kept focusing on the next milestone - crawling, walking, talking - so much that she didn't appreciate the stage her daughter was in at the time.

Enjoy each day, good or bad, as you only get one time to make memories at the age they are at.

Best advice was/is no advice unless I ask for it. I just need someone to talk to...not to tell me what I'm doing wrong.
