Our RE appointment that was supposed to be a week after DH's SA post treatment has been delayed almost an entire week (so its going to be on the 25th, not the 19th of July). At least it is only a week, since they originally said there was no other available appointment until SEPTEMBER!!!! But the timing sucks, since I would have been getting AF around the 19th of July so I imagine now if we do IVF it wont be until sometime in August or September

In other words, I might be on the bench a little longer then I was already going to be!

QOTW: The Hanging onto a Dream check-in on the Infertility Board has a badge, so I thought maybe 3T's board for us who are benched should have one too. I had been playing around with making one and attached it here. Would anyone else like to make one? Maybe we could do a vote?

@SweetieShellieH - Hopefully these next couple of weeks fly by so you can be on your way to IVF!

We are getting ready to leave for our week long camping trip, it is going to be very interesting to try to use OPKs the first couple of days, and then to use Crinone after O! I wasn't planning on using any meds this cycle but a visit with my RE made me reconsider.

I found out that I'm no longer Rubella resistant - so once AF begins I need to be vaccinated, and I'm glad I'll be out of town during O so I don't feel guilty about not trying!

QOTW: I'm not really in to badges, so no opinion here!

I got some bad news this afternoon and got sent to the bench. My folicles did well but my estrogen was too low. I don't think AF will show up in time to get to cycle again in July, so I think I'm on the bench until August. Being benched has had me crying most of the afternoon. The worst part was that I got the news while I was at the hair salon getting my hair cut. This pour girl was so young and nieve and all I could do was cry.

QOTD: I think the benched group should have their own badge. I'd love to attempt a badge, but I can't from my kindle. I might have to give it a shot on Monday when I have a real computer.

Hello, first time bencher here!

Waiting to do all my IVF testing, switched from IUI (switched docs too). On BCP now so I'm definitely on the bench...maybe till July.

Feels like I'm starting over, which is a little frustrating. Hopefully things turn around and I have good news by August/sept.

@ChristieH917‌ I'm so sorry. :-( I sobbed when I found out I was benched too. It's so unfair and so frustrating. I'm sure it's even more frustrating when you're in the middle of a cycle. Would you have to have your period by July 1st to do a July cycle?

I am guessing no... I am estimating July 10th or so. Also, my RE does the cycles in group. I'm not sure when the group will start.

That sucks. My RE does group cycles for IVF too, and it sounds irritating enough that I might go to a different clinic if we need to move to IVF. Though, maybe most clinics do it and that wouldn't really help? I'm not sure.

Still benched! Waiting another 2 weeks for AF to come so I can start our first Femara/Ovidrel/IUI cycle with my new RE!

QOTW: I don't plan to be here too long...but would dig a badge while I'm here!

Still benched here, still have 2 months left

Met with the RE last week and discussed the plans once we are back off the bench. We'll give Femara/Ovidrel/IUI one go before moving to IVF. Guess we'll see if we'll have a bean stick by 2015. UGH
