Feeling way too good

I guess thats the "beauty" of second tri... But at the same time, because I have no symptoms, and not a big bump yet, my damn PGAL brain is really kicking in!

I just can't wait for my LO to be big enough to start feeling his/her movements.

Its funny cause i check my belly every day to see if there is noticeable growth :/ and I just seem to feel disappointed that I'm not HUGe yet ...

Anyways. That is all.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Re: Feeling way too good

  • Don't let it get to you!!! I had really bad week because of the same thing. Just trust that your baby is doing wonderfully! :) so glad you're feeling better (symptom wise). I hope your PGAL brain shuts up soon and you can enjoy the pregnancy again. Creepy hugs to you!!

  • In all likelihood you are fine. I got into my second trimester and was feeling great. Be careful not to over exert yourself or become dehydrated (2 mistakes I made earlier this week).

  • I have a bump and I still feel like I'm not pregnant some days. It's a weird in between. I promise you will get huge soon enough. PGAL is a weird beast.

I am doing much better but needing to recognize that I should have limits. Definitely resting more than I planned on...but that is not a bad thing since I can get caught up on the bump.

  • I've never been PgAL but am right there with the paranoia in 2nd tri. I have next to no bump. I just look fat right now, have an appointment in a week, cannot wait. Glad to hear I'm not the only one, I feel a little crazy.
  • Yep, so paranoid.  I've totally been feeling less pregnant the last week or so, and while I've never suffered a loss before, I'm having trouble shaking the feeling.  Can't WAIT to feel it, or have some semblance of a bump for evidence that all is well.
  • Like @3purpleroses I have a doppler and it's been a huge help. Maybe that would be helpful for you, even if only for a couple weeks? I've only used it twice, but one of them was yesterday. SO has been away on business and asked me how baby was doing. I realized I hadn't felt any movement for a couple days (I've been feeling tiny movements for a couple weeks now); busted out the doppler and was reassured by that adorable little gallop. ((hugs)) Also, try to take weekly belly pics instead of checking daily; you'll see a lot bigger difference in a photo than you ever will day to day in the mirror and a week can make a huge difference!

  • I feel exactly the same. I had 2 mmc last year and although my bump has grown significantly and I'm noticeable pregnant now, I can't help feeling worried that I don't feel sick anymore and I feel 'normal!' It's so hard to swallow the fear and try to remind ourselves that once in 2nd tri, feeling 'normal' is totally...well, normal!
It's hard to remain positive bit someone once told me on here the best way to deal with it is to just think..."today I'm pregnant, and baby is just fine." Doesn't always help loads bit it's better than dwelling in the fear! X
