Wish me luck...Today is the babyshower

So today is the baby shower that ive been dreading. Turns out the chick that is throwing it with me has better things to do and its pretty MIA today. Ive been cooking and running around town since 9am and party is at 2. As soon as its over I am coming home, drinking some wine and crying. Not only and I stressed out today about it but all the responsibilities have fallen in to my lap...Guess that's what you get when you are hard working, dedicated and reliable. I really wish I could enjoy this baby shower.... Ill let you guys know how it goes when I get home.

I'm glad you have the bottle of wine waiting for you later - you definitely deserve a treat. Sometimes it helps me to think "in _ hours I will be on the couch enjoying wine." Like a countdown, I guess. Good luck!!!!!

Hopefully it all goes smoothly! I know you'll be glad when it's over. I've hosted soooooooo many showers where the co-hosts were complete flakes. It's the worst. Hopefully the mom-to be is super grateful and it'll all be worth it. If not...well...throw her and your crappy co-host into this week's TPT!

Thanks ladies. It was nice to come home and read your messages. So shower wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. Super cute I might add. It was easier because my mom was there helping me and I directed my attention to her (not sure if you read the post about her not knowing about our IF issues because Idw to tell her until after her chemo and surgery is complete and in the clear. One less thing for her to worry about) but when we were opening gifts I was crying behind my camera lens. No one saw thank god. Someone made a comment about if there's duplicates don't return them send them to grandma and my mom said to me when you have a shower I hope you get lots of duplicates so I can have some at my house too. That's a great idea! And I was like holy fuck Carlee keep it together. Don't let go. Lmao. Came home. Ate dinner with DH, hung with some friends and drank 3 beers and ate a large piece of cake and I don't even feel guilty. Again thanks for allowing me to vent and "lean on your sholders".....via the bump

July 2014- IUI#1-Canx due to scar tissue and polyps. TI with the help of Ovidrel. BFN
