My MOTY moment

We were at my older son's baseball game yesterday.  B saw that another baby was toddling around out of her stroller, so he wanted out, too.  I figured he just started walking, so why not let him get used to moving around on concrete? Well, less than 5 minutes later, he loses his balance and falls, scratching his face a little bit.  I was right on top of him, too! Needless to say I'll be keeping him in his stroller for future games.

I know they're bound to get bumps and bruises, but this is B's first boo-boo, so I feel awful!

  • It is funny how it is always worse for the mom. Maybe let him loose on grass, if available?

DS had his first boo-boo back in April. He had been really walking for about a month and he was walking downwards on the sidewalk. His body moved faster than his legs and he ended up scratching his nose and forehead.

Don't feel bad. C was pulling up on my wooden jewelry armoire and it fell over, scratching his face and leaving a bruise on the way down. I cried. And this was the day before mother's day. So, we have no photos:(

  • first boo boo?  It is amazing he made it this far without any.  We seem to get more than one a day now!  My LO skidded on loose gravel today, skinned his leg bad enough to draw blood, he just stood up and kept going...nary a peep.  He is a trooper.
