WWYD: Possible allergic reaction

My babe projectile vomited 5 or 6 times tonight. We called an ambulance and they chalked it up to him having the flu.
The last time this happened was a couple months ago. We took him to the ER and the doctor there said it was the flu, as well.
The first time he did this, we had fed him oatmeal cereal for the first time a few hours before. Tonight, we fed him puffs for the first time that contain oat flour.
Is this enough evidence that he has allergic reactions to oats, or would you guys say it's the flu too?
I know you guys aren't doctors. I just want opinions. Thanks.

@NYChs THANK YOU for bringing up FPIES. I've never even heard about that, but while reading up on it, I thought, "This is exactly what F had!" I'm going to bring it up when I take him to his pediatrician next week.

Matei projectile vomited again this week after having fed him oatmeal cereal. I haven't given him it since his last vomiting episode, 5 weeks ago.
Pedi suspects gluten/wheat allergy.
We will get him tested when he's 1yo.
Til then, no more cereal or anything related;(
I hope Frank will be just fine!
